  • Some DirectX 11 games may fail to launch when Image Sharpening is enabled from the NVIDIA Control Panel: [2901920]
  • [Notebook]: Graphical corruption may occur after resume from display sleep. [2859247]

Known Issues

  • [Notebook][H-Clone]: With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel. [200594188]
  • [Notebook][GeForce 1050 Ti MaxQ]: The screen displays corruption after waking from display off. [2859247]

  • [Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege][Vulkan][G-SYNC]: When playing the game in Vulkan mode with G-SYNC enabled, flickering occurs after switching the game between full-screen and windowed mode.[200578641]
  • To work around, either disable G-SYNC or play using an API other than Vulkan.

Maximum Framerate
In the last Game Ready Driver, we introduced a new Maximum Framerate Setting into the NVIDIA Control Panel which allowed gamers to set the max framerate a 3D application or game can render. With the latest Game Ready Driver, we’ve incorporated community feedback asking for the limits to be extended. As a result, framerate limits can be as low as 20fps and can be raised as high as 1000fps.
Image Sharpening Improvements
Leveraging gamer feedback over the last few months, we have been continually improving the new image sharpening feature. With this latest version, you have the ability to toggle GPU scaling independent of whether image sharpening is enabled or disabled.
Variable Rate Super Sampling
We introduced a new VRSS feature…
Variable Rate Super Sampling (VRSS) is a new technique to improve image quality in VR games which uses NVIDIA Variable Rate Shading (VRS) to dynamically apply up to 8x super sampling to the center of the VR display when GPU headroom is available. In doing so, VRSS can improve image quality at the focal point of the eye while always maintaining the 90 FPS needed to deliver a smooth VR experience.
Share Freestyle Filters
Gamers can now import and export Freestyle/Ansel filters and take advantage of a new split screen filter to help showcase their improvements!

Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Driver For Windows, Review, Specifications And Features, Performance, file information

Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Driver For Windows –The Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 is built for fast and fluid 1080p gaming in the latest DirectX 11 and NVIDIA PhysX-enabled games. Packed with all the Kepler features found in the flagship GTX 680, GeForce GTX 660 delivers the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability.

Specifications And Features

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 is equipped with 960 cores. That comparison alone can give us an idea of what to expect here. Well, it would be easy if NVIDIA, in its usual way, didn’t give the core clock a nice boost on the non-Ti edition. Lesser cores, but +65MHz to the clock. An interesting move, and not one that anyone will complain about.

Memory density and general architecture layout remain similar between the two cards, although while the 660 Ti is based on the GK104 chip, this non-Ti version uses GK106. Whereas typical GPCs, or Graphics Processing Cluster, have two SMX units per, GK106 splits one right down the middle.

Alongside the GTX 660, NVIDIA has also launched the GTX 650, although availability at this point is nil. Despite being briefed on both of these cards at the same time, I haven’t found a single review online of the GTX 650, so it’s to be assumed that NVIDIA isn’t rushing that product out too fast, and if I had to guess, it’s a card that exists only to finish off the sequential numbering system. Laugh all you want, but imagine the table above without the GTX 650. That’d look rather odd, wouldn’t it?

Reloop spin keygen free. That aside, for NVIDIA to call it the GTX 650 is a bit of an insult to the GTX name. In no possible way does this GPU deserve it – GTX has traditionally represented cards that could more than handle games being run with lots of detail and at current resolutions.

Performance

When we benchmark our video cards and look at the graphs, we aim to get to a certain level of FPS which we consider playable. While many may argue that the human eye can’t see over 24 FPS or 30 FPS, any true gamer will tell you that as we climb higher in Frames Per Seconds (FPS), the overall gameplay feels smoother. There are three numbers we’re looking out for when it comes to our benchmarks.

30 FPS – It’s the minimum number we aim for when it comes to games. If you’re not dropping below 30 FPS during games, you’re going to have nice and smooth gaming experience. The ideal situation is that even in a heavy firefight, the minimum stays above 30 FPS making sure that you can continue to aim easily or turn the corner with no dramas.

60 FPS – It’s the average we look for when we don’t have a minimum coming at us. If we’re getting an average of 60 FPS, we should have a minimum of 30 FPS or better and as mentioned above, it means we’ve got some smooth gameplay happening.

120 FPS – The new number that we’ve been hunting down over recent months. If you’re the owner of a 120 Hz monitor, to get the most out of it you want to get around the 120 FPS mark. Of course, if you’re buying a 120 Hz monitor to take advantage of 3D, an average of 120 FPS in our benchmark means that in 3D you will have an average of 60 FPS, which again means you should expect some smooth gameplay.
